Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

Loved this lunch spot! It was a fun family friendly food experience. The kids loved cooking the food and using the tongs to cook on the grill. The lunch deal is a steal. Our favorite proteins were the filet, shrimp, and hanger steak in that order. We liked the spinach and loved the novelty of cooking it in a pouch. Great deal for lunch menu.

BZ was such an amazing host. He answered all the questions we had and made a super comfortable environment for us. They have the best food for the best price!!! I got the skirt steak 10/10 and the black pepper wings 1010!!!!! i would come back here and order again so amazing!!! Such an amazing staff and environment. So many options on the menu and lots of different things to choose from. They have something for everyone

Fonz was seriously the best server and Enrique at the front and Jasmine at the bar were amazing. Alvaro kudos he rescued my phone that I forgot at the table. The food is unbelievable. I have eaten at a lot of restaurants but never had this much fresh and good food. Cooking on the grill the experience was so fun and I 100% recommend this place. Also I bet this is the best location they have.

Not a fan of chains because I feel like they cut corners, but, I didn't feel like I got cheated here! It was my friend's first time doing J-BBQ so I decided that the Value Course was the best choice in case she didn't like it. That didn't happen, though. She absolutely loved every bit of it! From grilling her own food, to the way everything tasted, to the sauces and accompaniments. When it comes to Japanese BBQ, I'm pretty picky. But, I have to say, I was pretty impressed. Even with the value menu. We came during Happy Hour so that was an added bonus! The staff was extremely attentive. The cocktails were tasty. And the meat was well-marinated! Highly recommend!

Had a truly terrible experience here recently, the food arrived flavorless and missing our plant based protein. They offered to remake it again and they forgot to give us our broccoli that we had paid for and cooked up previously…however Fonz, our waiter was nice. However, the manager Enrique made me feel uncomfortable the way he talked to us with his tone and the way he addressed the issue. He told us that there was plant based protein in our rice ground up and mixed into it, but we couldn’t taste it in there at all. He was like can’t you see it it’s in there and just overall made me feel uncomfortable. When we were about to leave, they even gave us actual silverware, which I was surprised to be offered and then shortly thereafter they took it back from us. They remade it. But When we got back to the hotel, we were disappointed to find that our food was flavorless and still lacking in protein. As you can see in the picture, it is not visibly mixed into the rice. It was so gross that we couldn’t eat any of this and threw it away. What a terrible, disappointing experience.

Really enjoyed our meal here! Excellent value especially on the pre fixe menu, the Meat Lovers set gave us a nice variety to try. It’s a lot of fun to cook your own meat and they give you such great portions that you will not leave hungry. Good service from our waitress Sonia, and really delicious cocktails (we especially liked the Cucumber Collins)
